No way a sect

I was amazed by the front-page article “Sect school on brink of getting cash” in which the John Loughborough School was described as being “run by a religious sect”.

I have never been a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, nor do I agree with its view on sabbath observance, but it is a branch of the Christian church. Like every other branch, it has its own denominational hobby-horse. But to brand it a “sect” is quite outrageous.

Incidentally, the school does not exclude non-SDA children either.
