The heidie of a west of Scotland primary sent a note home with one particularly ripe pupil. But she hadn’t bargained for the reaction of proud mum who strode into school, waving the note and shouting: “Whit’s aw’ this? You’re paid to teach ma wean. No’ tae smell hur.”
