Not fair, says Edinburgh

Edinburgh is to protest to Acas, the conciliation service, about the "independence and fairness" of its adjudication in favour of school janitors who are in a long-running dispute with the council over anti-social hours and shift payments. The council says it would cost another pound;100,000 if it had to meet the janitors' demands.
