Young Apprenticeships will be available to 14 to 16 - year-olds who will spend two days in the workplace and three in school or college, the Government said this week. The re-launched Modern Apprenticeship will offer a high quality vocational route for key stage 4 pupils. The age limit of 25 has been lifted and students will still be able to take GCSEs and have the option of taking A-levels.
