Cardinal Heenan Catholic Sports College in Liverpool has won two national football titles this season. The under-12 team will represent England in the Danone Nations Cup in Madrid this October.

Children from Edward Wilson, Gateway and St Peter’s CofE primary schools in Westminster, London, dress up as zombies to take part in the Floating Classroom’s On the Waterfront filmmaking workshops.

Year 5 and 6 students from local primaries take part in a French mini-Olympics at Bushey Meads School, Hertfordshire. The event was the grand finale of a year of activities combining use of French with physical activity, organised by the Bushey Strategic Learning Network for Modern Foreign Languages.

Year 8 pupils at Pensby High School for Girls, Wirral, prepare to set off on a sponsored walk in aid of the local St John’s Hospice.

Young artist and City Academy Bristol student Christian Barnett will begin studying for a degree in computer art and animation at Mercy College, New York, from September - but he will also play for the college’s prestigious basketball team.
