Introduce and celebrate the Muslim festival of Eid-ul-Adha (26 October) with a new TES collection. It also contains resources on the pilgrimage Muslims make to Mecca. A board game, role play, diary writing and more will help pupils get to grips with the topic.

Future games designers

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Young Game Designers competition is open for entries until 22 October. Children aged 11-16 can either design a game world and characters or show off their technical skills by creating a game. bit.lyBAFTAyoungGamers
