Cambridgeshire's education department is holding a conference for teachers called "Creativity Counts" at Peterborough's Marriott Hotel on February 2-3. Speakers include: Professor John Mason, founder member of the Open University Centre for Mathematics Education, who has written a report on creativity in maths for a QCA project; Hattie The Clown (aka Sue Brown, maths advisory teacher for Harrow); and New London Orchestra, which will explore the link between maths and music.
