Has Susan Barnard not suffered enough by being struck off the teaching register without the extra humiliation of a big picture of her appearing in your paper? (“Teacher’s trail of chaos”, December 5).
Incompetence is not a crime. While it sounds as though she’d be happier in a different setting, reporting on petty details, like her climbing a ladder in unsuitable shoes, seems to me just to twist the knife in even harder. The problems were dealt with by her leaving teaching. Why create a situation where the lady’s misery is increased?
