Nursery owners seek voucher ban

A total of 3,140 parents (95 per cent) claimed nursery vouchers for their four-year-old children in Wandsworth, according to the London borough.

A spokesman for the authority said: “Three-quarters of parents used their voucher in a council-funded school. Despite much-publicised fears about bureaucratic difficulties, Wandsworth schools soon managed to collect every single voucher from parents.”
