Ofsted is far from satisfactory

So, now we know. There are fewer so-called failing schools and 11, 46, 38 and 6 per cent (the proportion of outstanding, good, satisfactory and inadequate schools) add up to 100 per cent! Sir Michael Wilshaw’s emphasis on reading, writing and ‘rithmetic needs to start close to home when he becomes chief inspector.
