Old Firm truce

You couldn't move for celebrities at the first of the Scottish Education Awards in Glasgow last Friday. There was Rangers supremo Alex McLeish handing over a prize to St Ninian's High in Kirkintilloch, while Tom Boyd of Celtic was picked to greet the winners of a category which had only non-denominational finalists. This ecumenism bodes well for the future.
