One in 15 school-run vehicles ‘unsafe’

ONE in 15 public vehicles stopped by police on the school run was so dangerous that it was banned from the road immediately, police have revealed. One school bus had a back seat which could have fallen throughthe floor of the vehicle. The findings come after more than 3,500 buses, coaches, minibuses and taxis were checked in Operation Coachman, involving 36 police forces in England and Wales last month.
