So, Christine Gilbert feels that many schools judged “outstanding” by her outfit do not quite merit the grade (“Too few ‘outstanding’ schools excel at teaching, warns Ofsted chief”, 1 July). Given current form in the sector, I guess we can expect the new “outstanding PLUS” grade to come into effect very soon.
