Over 20,000 visitors attend BETT 2001 show

More than 20,000 people attended the mammoth BETT 2001 educational technology exhibition last month at Olympia in London. It is held again next year from January 9 to 12, but the next event this year for BETT organisers EMAP and the British Educational Suppliers Association is the Education Show in Birmingham on March 22 and 23. The show this year ceebrates its 10th anniversary and will have a healthy ICT presence that is better integrated with other exhibitors. Software publishers will be represented in the Software Centre and teacher-evaluators from TEEM (Teachers Evaluating Educational Multimedia) with be on hand to advise teachers.
