Amanda Bland’s letter expressing disappointment at TES Magazine’s “My Worst Parent” stories misses the point (November 19). Far from undermining the notion of partnership, the column is a genuine reflection of staffroom anecdotes from the cultural life of many schools.
I see nothing negative or patronising about such views. I have researched parental perceptions of primary schools in the past and find the articles not only humorous, but frequently touching. They may, indeed, enlighten as much as they entertain.
