Parents fight closure

Parents of the 200 students at Carmel College, Oxfordshire, Europe’s only Jewish boarding school, are to campaign against its closure. The head, Philip Skelker, wrote to parents during the Passover holiday to say that the school was closing after next term because of falling numbers.
