The book that parents most want to share with their children is The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe according to a survey for new magazine BBC Parenting. Winnie the Pooh was runner-up, followed by Roald Dahl’s Charlie and The Chocolate Factory then JRR Tolkien’s The Hobbit. Mary Poppins topped the list of parents’ favourite children’s films.
