The National Extension College has embarked on a new venture in partnership with Coca Cola and Schweppes Beverages and London University.

In a scheme called “Frontline”, the company has offered 80 of its new merchandising recruits the chance to study for a four-year BSc course in management while they are working full-time. Ruth Amy, spokeswoman for the college, describes the initiative as exciting and ambitious - “a first for CCSB and us.”

The National Extension College is providing special texts, guides and tutorial support including residential weekends, building on its 30 years experience of working with London’s external degree students.
