A fresh set of materials to support the teaching of Scottish history was launched yesterday (Thursday) by Douglas Osler, senior chief inspector of schools, a former history teacher. The materials were put together by the Scottish Consultative Council on the Curriculum with help from the National Library and Scottish Natural Heritage.
