Schools in Fife that have difficulty fitting museum and gallery visits into the curriculum will benefit from an innovative project by Fife Contemporary Art and Craft. It has commissioned a digital version of its new exhibition Past Present, which will tour schools, libraries and other public venues in the region this month and next. The digital show will arrive on site loaded onto a computer, accompanied by a special desk and chair designed to match the look of the exhibition. Past Present features new painting, photography, sculpture, jewellery and animation by four contemporary Scottish artists who were commissioned to make work in response to the collections of Fife Council’s Museums Service. The original exhibition has toured to St Andrews and Kirkcaldy.
