Unions are planning industrial action against the private training firm VT Group over its decision to freeze pay. Unions representing VT staff are now co-ordinating plans for action after rejecting the group- wide pay freeze announced in March. Trade unionists lobbied a meeting of VT shareholders last week, at which they voted in favour of the firm’s acquisition by Babcock International Group Plc.
