Education and Employment Secretary Gillian Shephard has confirmed the School Teachers’ Review Body’s recommendation for a phased 3.75 per cent pay rise.
Ending the period of consultation on the review body’s report, she said teachers will receive 2.7 per cent from April and a further 1 per cent in December.
