A bitter pay dispute at a primary school in St Helens, Merseyside, may soon be resolved. Members of the NASUWT and NUT have carried out a series of strikes at Holy Spirit school over plans to restructure its staffing. But both unions said they were encouraged by a governors’ promise to re-examine teachers’ roles.
