Penalties eased on teaching courses;In brief

THE Government’s teacher-training quango has eased its penalities on training courses that failed to recruit enough students last year. The Teacher Training Agency will claw back overpayments in last year’s grant over six months from August instead of the usual three from April. This recognises a national shortage of training recruits.
