Richard Kemp, deputy head of Danetre School, Daventry, Northamptonshire, has been appointed head of Manhood Community College, Selsey, near Chichester, from September.
David Shepherd, formerly director of continuing education at York University, has joined UHI Limited, the company formed to develop the University of the Highlands and Islands project. He will be responsible for the development of the network’s curriculum portfolios.
