The Holborn Centre for the Performing Arts is acknowledging the achievement of its founder and director, Dr David Hornbrook, by setting up an annual lecture series in his name.

Dr Hornbrook will give the first lecture, “The end of innocence: arts education after progressivism”, on November 16 at the Holborn Centre, Three Cups Yard, Sandland Street, London WC1, 7 pm. Dr Hornbrook is arts inspector for Camden, associate fellow of the Central School of Speech and Drama, and author of Education and Dramatic Art and editor of the Arts Council’s Drama in Schools.

His talk will be of interest to English and performing arts teachers and curriculum co-ordinators. Details from Richard Lee, 0171 306 5827.
