A scheme in Manchester which piloted this change was attacked by family-values campaigners after it was revealed that it gave young teenage girls easy access to morning-after pills.
THE morning-after pill could be available over the counter from chemists after a ruling from the Committee on the Safety of Medicines. The committee decided that the pill does not need to be prescribed by adoctor.
