Pioneering dozen lauded

The first 12 teachers to achieve “professional recognition” status received their rewards in Edinburgh on Monday. The scheme, administered by the General Teaching Council for Scotland, allows teachers to be recognised for their continuing professional development in ways which enhance their knowledge and experience, while also sharing it with others.
