Plans for Sikh state school

Plans for only the fourth state-maintained Sikh school in Britain have been unveiled. The as-yet-unnamed pound;9 million primary, to cater for 470 pupils, will be built in the heart of one of the country’s biggest Sikh communities in Southall, west London. It is due to open in September, 2008.
