The National Early Years Network (formerly the Voluntary Organisations Liaison Council for Under Fives) has published a new booklet with Save the Children. Called Playing fair, a parents guide to tackling discrimination, it offers advice on how to answer children when they say things like “Why is Jane in a wheelchair?” or “I want to be a boy, so I can play football”.
