Professor Stephen Hawking’s A Brief History of Time is set to become even briefer as billions of years of history are compressed into a single evening.

Theatre group The Works has turned the best-selling scientific book into a stage show to tour this autumn, starting in Goole, Humberside, on September 20 and ending in London on November 11-16.

Six actors will use drama, comedy, dance and music to illuminate the mysteries of the universe, including the Big Bang, black holes and quantum mechanics. For further information, contact Julia Jefferson on 0181 743 0978.
