The National Association of Governors and Managers has urged the Education Secretary, Gillian Shephard, to honour the Government’s promise to meet the extra costs of this year’s national tests.
In a letter, the chairman of the NAGM, Peter Morris, said governors were already hard-pressed to finance essential items.
