Education officials visiting a Glasgow secondary, recently closed, were more than a little astonished to discover the heidie running across the yard trying to catch a pigeon in a net improvised out of one of the large rescue poles from the swimming pool.
“These pigeons have got to go,” the heidie said. “I want to attract more in-service courses, but every time staff from other schools come here the birds shit on them.”
More target-setting perhaps?
