* In response to headteacher Martin Morris’s call for Btec Firsts to be included in school performance tables (TES, June 3), I would like to assure him that since last August students taking Btec Firsts and Btec National qualifications have had their achievements included in the pre-16 achievement and attainment tables.
Also, Btec First, National and Higher National results are included in the tariff of the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service.
