* WHAT a shame that Kevin Oldham (TES, August 2) chose the “New Visions in Early Headship” advert as an example to illustrate Jim Abraham’s comments about the restrictions and prescription that forced him to resign from his headship. I am one of the lucky participants in the pilot programme. New Visions is a breath of fresh air which has encouraged me to rethink and challenge aspects of the current educational environment that Kevin Oldham rightly suggests that we all recognise. Don’t let the advert put you off!
