* I enjoyed reading The TES last week (January 24). We had Sue Palmer, Peter Wilby and Geoff Brookes, each writing about a different initiative and exposing the reality of their likely effects on children and teachers.

In Friday magazine, Ted Wragg wrote a brilliant piece about the “compulsory” use of Qualifications and Curriculum Authority lesson structures in a special school and the two “Talkbacks” were priceless.

It’s heartening to know that there are still people who can see the wood from the trees, or rather the children and teachers from the clones. Keep it coming.
