I FOUND the following joke in a Marks and Spencer Christmas cracker that I have just opened: “What is the difference between teachers and chocolate? People like chocolate.” Teachers get a bad enough press wihout a major company adding to our denigration. Perhaps next year the word “joke” could be re-placed with “self-fulfilling prophecy”.
