YOUR feature on cancer (Friday magazine, February 4) was both moving and relevant. You quote that “exposure to radiation” can be a trigger factor for certain cancers. Should we be concerned about the growing number of schools which deliberately expose their pupils, staff and neighbours to microwave radiation by agreeing to host mobile phone masts?

I WAS appalled when I read in Try Before you Buy (Friday magazine, February 4) that “Some laptops are noisier than others and may prevent you from working at night in bed when your partner is asleep”. Don’t you think teachers work hard enough as it is, without taking more to bed.
