Can anybody tell me what has happened about those of us due to burst through the pay threshold in September 2001?

I have been shuffled from headteacher to local authority to union to Department for Education and Employment and it would appear they “have not even thought about printing the application forms yet”. Do we have to go to court again to get our money or is it going to sit in someone’s piggy bank until the next election?

On the subject of money, if Jenny Dunne and staff at her Trafford school don’t want their achievement awards of pound;370 (“Joy turns to fury in awards farce”, TES, April 6), we’ll take it off their hands, no questions asked.
