Ted Wragg is off-target when writing about re-inventing the wheel (“Sorry ideas aren’t appropriate”, TES, July 13).

I see a much better example of wheel re-invention in the news that researchers in Canada have discovered the benefits of a “human rights curriculum” (“Rights lessons reduce bullying”, TES, July 13). Strange that respect for others’ rights has been the basis of the world’s main religions for centuries.
