* I am completing a study of the Trades Union Congress and Education 1926-1970 and am seeking information about John Vernon Carl Wray who worked at the TUC from 1921 to 1956. From 1932-56 he was Secretary of the Education Committee and TUC representative of the Oxford University Board of Extra Mural Studies. He was a member of the Crowther Committee 1956-1959. In particular, I would like to know about his schooling, any further education he received and his occupation before he joined the TUC.
