THIS summer the exam boards made sure that all documentation to markers had the centre numbers but no names just in case examiners were prejudiced toward some types of school or college.
Most centres on the other hand were uncocerned and two-thirds of my centres advertised the school or college name on their postal franking labels. Maybe next year franking machines will be regulated!
