I am embarking on a research project for Manchester Metropolitan University, which is to investigate the changing role of the supply teacher.

Initially, I shall be looking into the primary sector as there have been significant changes in the curriculum which have de-mandedtimetable restructuring and training which many supply teachers will not have received.
