ONE OF the reasons teachers are usually broke is because of the amount of holiday we are obliged to take. Just staying at home costs a small forturne.

I would like to suggest teachers be paid a special holiday supplement as compensation. This would be added to pay as and when holidays arose.

Since this is pay for not doing your job it would not be performance-related.
