The official pound;1 World Book Day book tokens which have been sent to schools for distribution to all pupils up to the age of 18 (including children in nursery classes) can be redeemed at participating bookshops (that’s most of them) until the shops close on Saturday March 25. The tokens can only be spent by individual pupils (not to pay school bills) and the minimum purchase (book or udiobook) is pound;1.95 unless you’re buying The Children’s Book of Books 2000, which may sell out early in the redemption period. Pupils who enter their name and school on the back of the tokens can win up to pound;1,000 in book tokens for the school plus pound;25 for the pupil.
