Recognising the scarcity of careers information for Years 9 and 10, the Careers Bradford 910 initiative has sent a comprehensive series of booklets to all Bradford schools. There are separate booklets for pupils in each year and their parents and a third set for Year 8-10 teachers.

An additional “Working in ...” series is designed to give students an idea of the skills they need to follow a certain career path and covers Europe, industry, the service industries, the services (ambulance, fire, police, for example), practical jobs, shops and offices, and communications. Mass production is being negotiated. Interested schools should contact: Paula Yates, Careers Bradford Ltd, 37-39 Piccadilly, Bradford, West Yorkshire BD1 3TA. Tel: 01274 752319.
