In response to Anthony Seldon’s article “Second can be best” (3 February), at Canterbury Christ Church University we run a PGCE primary part-time course where the great majority of participants are career-changers. As Anthony says, they bring a wealth of experience and knowledge. And they invariably demonstrate the highest levels of commitment to children’s learning.
