Pram-bulatory language attacked

The Department of Trade and Industry was ridiculed at the Plain English Campaign awards this week for its description of "a wheeled vehicle" used by parents to push their babies around the park. But the campaign praised the Basic Skills Agency for its leaflet Making Reading Easier.
