RESEARCH by St George’s Medical School and Guy’s and St Thomas’s NHS Trust in London, due out next year, will show that almost 10 per cent of women are victims of domestic violence

during pregnancy. American and Scandinavian surveys found that 17 per cent of women were attacked in the first three months of their pregnancies.
