Your report on the General Teaching Council for England election was inaccurate. Anne Welsh has not been nominated by the Secondary Heads Association to serve on the GTCE from September 2004 (TES, October 31). She is the current holder. The process of nominating the new representative is under way and a decision will be made later in the month.
